The upcoming API provides P10, P50, and P90 ETA scenarios plus an arrival confidence signal for container-vessel planning.
Tradlinx has opened the waitlist for its upcoming AI ETA API, built to predict ETA for container vessels using shipment data, AIS-based vessel position and speed data, and portcall data. The API is intended to give shippers and freight forwarders a broader planning view of vessel arrival timing.
A single ETA often does not provide enough context when weather, port congestion, or vessel speed changes affect actual arrival timing. For teams planning warehouse receiving, truck dispatch, and production or shipment schedules, that uncertainty matters.
What the API provides
The Tradlinx AI ETA API is designed to return:
- P50: the most likely arrival time
- P10: an earlier-arrival scenario
- P90: a delay scenario
- Arrival confidence: the probability of actual arrival within ±1 day of P50
Together, these signals are intended to support more practical planning for receiving, dispatch, and schedule timing.
